The Textur'd Hair & Beauty Show (formerly the TORONTO NATURAL HAIR & BEAUTY SHOW), will take place on Sunday September 23rd, 2018, at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre located at 6 Garamond Drive in Toronto, Ontario.
With a focus on reshaping our perception of naturally curly hair and emphasizing its beauty to dissolve stereotypes, the Textur'd Hair & Beauty Show provides attendees with an atmosphere of positivity, promoting natural hair, health, and beauty.
This is a family event welcoming all people and encompasses over 40 exhibitors, interactive workshops, fashion & hair shows and live entertainment. At the show, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about various styling tips for curly hair, holistic health, fashion and much more!
This is Toronto's only major show, with a focus on the natural hair, health and beauty. Since its inception in 2003, the show has been a huge success, starting off as a one-day (4 hour) event with about 90 participants, to now a full day event with over 800 visitors including international guests. This annual event continues to expand every year due to the fast growing number of women who are returning to wearing their hair in its natural state.

This year, AfroChic is excited to announce headliner, singer, rapper, DJ and activist, DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown aka Ms. Erykah Badu whose trailblazing career spans decades. INDIVIDUALS: This showcase is either a solo or duets individuals who teaches and or give intensive traditional dance, drum, song, chant and percussions workshops to pedestrians, dance and drum companies, ensembles, private partners and to the general public.
GROUPS: Group participation are for dance companies consists of 10-12

Members from a notable dance and drum company who are willing to come showcased, represent their state, country and or their craft to the Canadian audience.
ORGANIZATIONS: Thia consists of 2-4 members or individuals coming to showcase their missions and products. This vending market place involved displayed of Arts, Crafts and merchandise both buying, selling, promoting, advocating and exchanging ideas with the community at large.
